Innerlight

WARNING:  THE WEB VERSION HAS PROBLEMS ON SOME SYSTEMS.  If the game freezes, it's most likely because your browser is not loading all assets correctly. This happens on some computers and not others and I haven't been able to pin it down.  The web version also has color issues and slow loading times - the Windows version looks better and is more reliable.

Dungeon is not completed, currently for early balancing and tech testing only.  Targeted for alpha release late 2026. Hoping to release on Steam in 2029. If you like old school dungeon crawlers (think Wizardry or Etrian Odyssey) and furry transformation, watch this space.

Press "H" to open the dialogue history.  The button currently only shows up in some parts of the game, but H should work most places.  Also undocumented: The C key skips through dialogue.

Several town features are stubbed out at the moment.

If you hit a crash, debug messages and stack traces will be in your browser's development mode console log and I'd love to see them!  On Windows, they live at %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Innerlight\logs.

Known issues: There's a conspicuous door that's missing its, well, doors - it'll still function exactly as expected, despite being able to see through it.  Also, as noted above, on some systems the web version will freeze when first streaming certain assets (often a character portrait, or a voice line in combat).  I can't reproduce this myself, so I'd love to see your stack trace, but you'll have to switch to the Windows version.  Cross-platform save transfers are not yet supported.
